River North is a unique and wonderful neighborhood\u00a0with miles of riverfront, historic architecture, world class dining and a\u00a0thriving\u00a0nightlife.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Problem<\/strong>
\nUnfortunately, our many visitors often leave a\u00a0shocking amount of litter behind when they head home\u00a0after a night on the town.\u00a0Since the Department of Streets and Sanitation has limited resources on\u00a0weekends, the neighborhood has to\u00a0live with unsightly and unsanitary streets\u00a0and sidewalks until Monday morning.\"\"
\nThe Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n

River North\u00a0Clean Streets is a non-profit created and managed by the River North Residents Association. RNCS has arranged\u00a0for a wonderful organization called\u00a0Cleanslate Chicago<\/a> to tidy up our neighborhood on\u00a0Saturday and\u00a0Sunday mornings. In their bright yellow vests, the friendly, well-trained\u00a0Cleanslate crews pick up tons of garbage and\u00a0recyclable materials, leaving our community cleaner, safer\u00a0and healthier.<\/p>\n
