As little as 0.3 inches of rainwater can trigger a combined sewage overflow (CSO) into\u00a0the Chicago River when the system gets overwhelmed.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a tip:<\/p>\n<p>Quicker Showers<br \/>\nA 10 minute shower can use as much as 40 gallons of water.
