For residents who\u00a0have\u00a0homemade,\u00a0cloth face coverings, please ensure your mask does the following:<\/p>\n<div>\u2022 fit\u00a0snugly but comfortably against the side of the face<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 be secured with ties or ear loops<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 include multiple layers of fabric<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 allow for breathing without restriction<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape<\/div>\n<p>While wearing face masks is now required, please note that\u00a0it does not replace or substitute social\u00a0distancing.\u00a0When wearing a mask, please continue to practice social distancing\u00a0from others, frequent hand cleaning and other preventative measures.<\/p>\n<p>Alderman Reilly will have\u00a0a number of masks available for distribution to 42nd\u00a0Ward residents. As a reminder, these masks\u00a0will be\u00a0prioritized for residents who belong to a\u00a0vulnerable population, including seniors 65 and older, those with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/need-extra-precautions\/people-at-higher-risk.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">underlying medical conditions<\/a>\u00a0that put them at higher risk, and essential personnel.<\/p>\n<p>If you or a member of your immediate household falls into these categories, and you do not otherwise have access to a mask, please <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScrKJIxao3b43nTOvp29mmeutD-kiIN2tKHD2grrn5lvXJbSA\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COMPLETE THIS FORM<\/a> and Alderman Reilly&#8217;s office will do their best to\u00a0provide you with a mask.
