Volunteer to Pitch in for Ward Park!<\/p>\n
This summer, the Chicago Parks Foundation, in partnership with the Chicago Park District and local communities, is leading a citywide volunteer\u00a0initiative to help keep our parks clean.<\/p>\n
Over the past few months, park budgets have been stretched and there are fewer seasonal employees. \u00a0If we provide the volunteers, the Chicago\u00a0Parks Foundation will provide clean-up supplies and safety guidelines to help support our park\u2019s ongoing maintenance.<\/p>\n
Join the RNRA in Ward Park on Saturday, October 17th from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and help us \u201cPitch in for the Parks.\u201d<\/p>\n
Protective gloves, trash bags and tools will be provided. \u00a0Volunteers will work in groups of ten or less and physical distancing guidelines will be\u00a0enforced. \u00a0Face masks\/coverings must be worn at all times. \u00a0Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.\u00a0\u00a0Registration is required.<\/p>\n
Can we count on you to \u201cPitch in for the Parks?\u201d<\/p>\n
Registration cannot be accepted until review of the\u00a0Volunteer Safety Guidelines<\/a>\u00a0and completion of the\u00a0Participant Release Waiver Form<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
