Essays may be written in English or Spanish.\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>All entries are due by March 2nd, 2015.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Essays will be judged in two categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Personal Cancer Experience for those who received a diagnosis themselves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Family Cancer Experience for those who have a family member or friend living with cancer or who have lost someone to cancer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cash awards are available to winners in each category.<\/p>\n<p>1st Place will receive $3,000<br \/>\n2nd Place will receive $1,500<br \/>\n3rd Place will receive $500<\/p>\n<p><strong>Each entry must be submitted by March 2nd, 2015 and include an official entry form.<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gildasclubchicago.org\/clientuploads\/DIRECTORY\/PROGRAMS\/Teen_Essay_Contest\/English_Flyer.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download the rules and the offical entry form HERE.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nSubmit essays <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/qpTyyHT3Hq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a> electronically.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Or mail them to:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8220;It&#8217;s Always Something&#8221;<br \/>\nTeen Essay Contest<br \/>\nGilda&#8217;s Club Chicago<br \/>\nAttn: Elizabeth Healy<br \/>\n537 N.
