Department of Transportation (CDOT) has launched a month-long, city-wide survey\u00a0to seek input from Chicagoans about what they appreciate about their streets and\u00a0sidewalks\u00a0and what improvements they would like to see.\u00a0 The survey is designed to help CDOT create guidelines for future improvements in the public right of way.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1424929827215_5699\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1424929827215_5698\">\u00a0<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1424929827215_5697\">CDOT is conducting the survey to\u00a0gather input for the creation of\u00a0Placemaking Guidelines\u00a0for the public right of way.\u00a0\u00a0Placemaking is the term used by urban planners for the process of enhancing public spaces by capitalizing on a community&#8217;s assets and potential to improve the quality of life and create vibrant neighborhoods.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1424929827215_5704\"><span
